Morning Prayer Before Going To Work

4 Mins read

Proverbs 16:3 The Bible says to trust in the LORD with your efforts, and He will sustain all your plans.

Psalms 5:3 May my voice be heard in the morning. My Father, this morning is when I will look up to you and make my prayer.

When you first get up in the morning, what is the first thing you think about? It should be a prayer to start your day by thanking God for all he has given you and your family. (Psalms 63:1a)

The morning prayer is an opportunity for us to acknowledge and thank God for previous blessings. Not only that, but it’s a time when everything around me should now be focused and conducive to my desire to accomplish the day’s tasks (1 Peter 5:7).

A prayer is a powerful tool, and if you do it right, you will succeed in your field. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus Christ advises us first to seek His righteousness, and then all that we desire will be made adequate for us.

The morning prayer gives you the energy and focuses you need to get through the rest of your day, plus it helps you establish a positive mindset that will help with any challenges that may come up throughout the day.

Here are some things that I recommend adding to your morning prayer:

Pray for God’s guidance and wisdom

Psalms 25:4-5: “Teach me about Your path, O Lord. Guide me in Your truth all day long as my hope is in you. “

Pray that He will help you make the right decisions and choose the best course of action. Pray for His assistance when your mind is foggy or confused, and you can’t figure out what to do next.

Pray that you will be able to recognize problems before they arise and have a good solution in mind. Pray that you won’t become frustrated or angry with people who don’t live up to your expectations, but instead respond calmly and kindly as possible when needed.

Dear God, thank You for this new day. Every day you assign us a different task. Because you made me sound and healthy today, may you guide me in whatever I do. May I not be driven by my bodily desires but rather by your wisdom. In Christ’s name, I pray Amen.

Pray for protection, energy, and strength

2 Thessalonians 3.3

He is a faithful God. He will give you enough strength and guard you against the evil one

Before you start your day, ask God to give you energy and strength. Pray that God will make you more powerful than ever before. We live in a free fallen world, and anything can happen to us. Only God can make us go to work and return home in the evening, still safe.

Nothing can separate us from the love of God. Pray for protection from the evil eye. Pray for protection from physical harm, particularly if you are driving a car or riding a bike in the city.

Dear God, thank You again for this day. I want to stay in the shadow of Your wing. Please be there for me when I feel weak, bored, and hopeless. I cant be able to face this day alone. Please catch my hand and let us walk together. Take care of my family and me.

Free us from any disease that may wipe out our energy. Even my colleagues that I will meet will be with them and their families. In Christ’s name, I pray Amen.

Pray for Happiness and Joy

Proverbs 15:13- 15

Anxiety brings a man down, but good words make him glad. A cheerful heart has a continual feast

When you wake up in the morning and think about what you’re going to do for the day, chances are that your first thought is something like: “I’m tired.” I don’t want to go to work. Or maybe it’s something more like: “I hate my life.”

Perhaps even worse than that. What if there was a way to ensure those feelings weren’t so strong? Is there a way to make them fade away as soon as they appear? Pray that you will be happy and successful at work, in life, and with one another.

My everlasting Father, I am glad I am alive today. Every day bears its challenges, but if I am overwhelmed in despair, please guide me towards your light. My refuge, please let there be no sorrow in me, but in your mercies, I rejoice in happiness and joy. I entrust my worries to you, my friend, and ask that you assist me in winning this day. In Jesus’ name, I pray and believe. Amen

Pray that you will be a blessing and a breakthrough for the company.

2 Corinthians 9: 8

“God can adequately bless you so that in all time you will abound in every good work.”

Psalms 90:17

May the favor of our Lord be upon us. May the works of my hands be established by you.

You are a valuable resource asset in the field you are in. Since you do not work alone, pray that your co-workers will be blessed and that their work is successful. Pray for the company’s employees’ success in general, specifically those who are struggling or facing difficult circumstances at work.

Ask God to help them find peace and comfort in Him during difficult times; remind yourself that He always has a good plan for us (see Matthew 6:34).

Pray also about customers who have become frustrated with something you do—whether it’s an item they ordered but never received. Maybe it’s an experience with one of your employees that went wrong.

Ask him to bless them with patience when dealing with this situation so they may fully understand its importance. Not only how much time/effort goes into ensuring each customer receives exactly what they need, but also how frustratingly frustrating things like this can be.

Lord, please listen to me as I make my prayer known to You. Thank you for your generous provisions; I have work to do today. Some are jobless, but I am grateful I am engaged today. Since I have woken up today, I ask for your grace and favor to walk with me.

Please help me and my colleagues to do our best. Enhance us with your thinking that we may be creative enough. Bless our customers and all the other stakeholders and bring them success in their jobs. Help us live together in harmony and be our mediators where conflicts emerge.

To You Jehovah, be honor and glory. I pray and trust in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
