The Holy Spirit is an agent of change. When you go back to Scripture, you will notice that everyone who had an interaction with the Holy Spirit, whether it was through Him resting on them or through the presence of Christ, was changed.
Today, God’s ability to change us through the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit has not weakened or waivered. While God can change us from the inside out through His Spirit, He will only do what we allow Him to do. Today, ask God to transform you into the disciple that He wants you to be.

Ezekiel 36:26-27 (NIV)
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my screes and be careful to keep my laws.
Psalm 51:10-13 (NIV)
Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Then I will teach transgressors your ways, so that sinners will turn back to you.
Pray This Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me to become the person and the disciple that You want me to be. I know that there are changes that need to be made in my life, but I am not capable of making them on my own.
Today, I offer my body to You as a living sacrifice so that I can be transformed by the renewing of my mind. I’m asking You to give me the new heart and the new spirit that You promised to Ezekiel. Create in me a pure heart, O God. Not only so I can be closer to You, but so I can teach others Your ways. In Christ’s name, Amen

Heavenly Father, I thank You and praise You for being a God of transformation. Thank You for giving me Your Holy Spirit, who can change me from what I am to what You want me to be. Thank You for having a purpose for me and for making it possible for me to accomplish that purpose. Most of all, thank You for not giving up on me while I’m in the process of becoming what You want me to be. In Christ’s name, Amen.
